Paul Gelinas

One of my goals in the acro community is to communicate the powerful metaphor of acro yoga to all participants. A playful practice can often surprise us and destroy preconceived ideas of what we tell ourselves is possible. Amongst other things, I use acro as an access point to empowerment and connection. I use playfulness and humour to help participants develop the confidence and skills needed to progress safely and creatively.

I am a co-founder of Vancouver Acro Festival, an active member of the community, and I lead regular acro classes in Vancouver. I have completed a 500 hour yoga teacher training, a 300 hour Yoga Therapeutics training, and have been certified as a personal trainer for nearly 10 years.
