Aya Kristina Engel

Aya is the Co-founder of Vancouver Acro Festival! Her passion has been in the circus for years. In circus school she specialized in aerial silks and partner acrobatics. She also studied Yoga in India- and found AcroYoga a beautiful mélange of her two worlds.

 
Living in Vancouver, Aya is always travelling and teaching. She's taught and performed Circus + Acro across Australia, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, all over Euopre, Malayasia, and Namibia. She is a certified Partner Acrobatics teacher, certified Yoga Instructor and Master Herbalist. Her laid back nature and jolly humour is sure to bring a smile to your face- and make the class environment fun for all!

She is currently in school studying to become a Doctor of Chinese Medicine. She is very passionate about the healing arts.
